Schema, Dimensions, and Keywords- Optimizing My Page for Higher Rankings
There's no question that optimizing your website for better rankings is essential for success. Not only will higher rankings lead to increased traffic and conversion rates, but they'll also help your brand to be more visible in the search engine results pages (SERPs). By utilizing Advanced schema and Dimensions, I'm able to tie my content directly to the local business schema. This allows Googlebot to reward me with better rankings. Additionally, by organizing my content using schema, I can control my brand's visibility by being associated with a keyword phrase. This is an important step in any SEO campaign – giving you insights into which keywords are most valuable and where you should focus your efforts.
Keyword research entails looking at its total value versus difficulty of ranking; CPC multiplied by search volume holds importance when determining which keywords should be included on pages. By understanding the cost-per-click (CPC) for each keyword as well as its search volume, you can make informed decisions about which keywords to include on your page. In addition to CPC values, other factors such as competition and SERP features also need to be considered when optimizing a page for better rankings.
Learning SEO- From Zero To Ranking in Just Two Years
When it comes to online marketing, few tools are as powerful and free to use as ahrefs webmaster tools. This tool was originally created as a way for website owners to audit their website's search engine optimization (SEO) status, but it can also be used for a wide range of other purposes. Recently, I discovered this tool and have been using it to improve my search engine results.
As a strategy lead for FreshBooks, I work with both small businesses and large international ecommerce brands. My work on these sites has been featured in USA Today, Business.com, Search Engine Land, and Search Internet Learn more. Needless to say, I have had extensive experience with SEO and know exactly what it takes to achieve good results. However, two years ago when I first started learning about SEO, ranking with seven percent keyword density was easy enough - nowadays depending on the type of site you're working on it can take much longer. In fact, sometimes achieving good rankings even requires using less than seven percent keyword density!
One of the biggest mistakes that newbies make is relying too heavily on blog content alone when learning about SEO. This is because most blogs are published by experts in the field who already know everything there is to know about SEO - which makes them difficult to follow for someone just starting out. As such, one of my main strategies for improving my search engine results has been reading blogs but also using other resources such as White Hat SEO resources (which are established by people who are committed to ethical online marketing practices), asking colleagues around me questions (to get honest feedback), and experimenting (by trying different techniques and seeing what works best).
SEO Strategies- Achieving SEO Success Through Inspiration
Throughout the years, I've been inspired by a variety of people in the SEO world. From Matt D. to Kyle R., these individuals have opened my eyes to new and innovative strategies that I would have never known about otherwise. In this section, we'll be taking a look at some of these strategies and how they've helped me achieve success in my career.
Matt Diggity is a writer and SEO consultant who has written extensively on the topic of search engine optimization (SEO). In late 2017, he released an article entitled 5 Unknown SEO Strategies That Are Working Like Crazy which opened my eyes to strategies that are often overlooked by mainstream bloggers. Since then, I've been using many of these same tactics to help me rank higher on difficult keywords for my clients.
One strategy that I've found to be particularly effective is link building. While it's important to have high-quality links from reputable sources, it's also important to be realistic when pursuing links. For example, if you're targeting a difficult keyword that you don't think you'll be able to rank for easily, don't waste your time chasing links that won't make a difference. Instead, focus your efforts on more achievable keywords that you can realistically rank for.
Another strategy that I've found helpful is self publishing. Rather than writing articles for publications with lots of words (which can be challenging), writing shorter pieces focused on one topic can be more efficient and rewarding. This allows you to share your knowledge with a wider audience without sacrificing quality or depth.
Finally, one of the most inspirational people in the SEO world is 19-year-old Steve Toth from Canada. Steve has built an impressive following through his YouTube channel and Instagram account which focuses on all things related to SEO – from beginner tips to in-depth discussion boards regarding specific topics. Through following his advice and spending time reading his content, I'm confident that I'm achieving success at a much faster rate than if I were working alone!
From SEO Employee to Entrepreneur- Success Through Dedication and Relationships
As an SEO employee at Freshbooks.com, I was used to working long hours and grinding it out in the trenches. It was always my dream to become an entrepreneur and take the plunge, so when the right opportunity presented itself, I didn't hesitate for a second.
One decision that motivated me to leave my job was when our team successfully ranked number one for the keyword 'invoice templates' I posted about it on LinkedIn which led to two leads and 10k in retainers per month. It was amazing seeing my hard work pay off in such a spectacular way! This success solidified my decision to make the switch and jump into entrepreneurship full-time.
Having been part of a Facebook group where I shared advice, dedicated effort and built up a strong reputation proved instrumental in helping launch SEO Notebook with 100 prelaunch subscribers. By being helpful, dedicated and building relationships within groups, I became more successful than ever before. With this experience under my belt, launching SEO Notebook felt like nothing – it was like riding a wave that had been created by myself and others who had preceded me into this industry. So if you're looking for success as an entrepreneur – whether you're just starting out or have been doing it for years – be patient, be helpful to others, and stay positive! Relationships are key!
